Medical doctor, with more than 20 years in Public Health. Degrees of Medical Doctor issued by the National University of La Plata, in Argentina; Master of Public Health from Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia; Master of Biomedicine and Informatics from the University of Washington in Seattle and Specialist in Public Health (shlav alef) awarded by the Israel Medical Association, in Tel Aviv. She is a former Minister of Health of Peru; she previously assumed the position of Vice Minister of Public Health of Peru. She oversees the area of transmissible diseases and adverse events in vaccines in the Epidemiology Division and previously a medical researcher in the Quality Assurance Program, both in the Israeli Ministry of Health. Previously, in Peru, she was Director of the National Center for Biological Products at the National Institute of Health; Head of the Epidemiology Office of the Cayetano Heredia Hospital and in charge of diverse health programs in the South Lima Health Directorate. With more than 13 years of experience in the academic field at the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia, Faculty of Public Health and Administration.
